Apps are way too addictive
Every year, billions of dollars are spent by big tech companies on hijacking our minds—keeping us glued to our phones with bright colors, endless notifications, and perfectly curated content. We’re outnumbered and outgunned in the battle for our attention.
We tried "dumb phones" but missed the music for our runs and the convenience of maps. We experimented with screen time limits, only to find it too easy to tap "15 more minutes" for hours. We tried leaving our phones in another room, which worked—until we had to run back for a call or message, only to find ourselves with the phone at our desk again. Enough was enough, we needed a permanent solution.
That’s why we built Void: a physical device that locks away the apps that pull us in, breaking the cycle of mindless scrolling and giving us a "key" to take back control. Void empowers us to live intentionally, a breakthrough tool for a world designed to keep us distracted.
Give your attention to what matters, leave the rest to Void.
